Limestone County - Emergency Management  -  (02/24/2026)

Limestone County is accepting applications for the position of Emergency Management Coordinator. Applications will be accepted in the Limestone County Judge’s office, 200 W. Limestone County - Road and Bridge    (02/19/2026)

The Limestone County Road and Bridge Department is now accepting applications for the positions of CDL Driver, Shop, Bridge Crew & Seasonal worker.  Applications may be picked up and submitted between the hours of 7:00am and 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday, at the Road and Bridge office,  411 Elwood Enge Drive, Groesbeck, Texas, 76642, Applications will be received until positions are filled.   For more information see HERE.   Application form can be collected at the Road and Bridge office.

 

Jailer

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office has Jailer positions open in the county jail. Applications are available for pickup in the Sheriff's Office at 912 North Tyus Street, Groesbeck, TX 76642. Limestone County Communication Center dispatch position Opening!

 
Seeking an individual  to originate, relay, and interpret information relating to safety and well-being of law enforcement  officers, agency personnel, and the general public. This individual will have excellent communication skills, Telephone etiquette, will receive, process, and document all calls for service for police, fire, and EMS assistance from the public. And relay the information to the appropriate source, and the ability to multitask. This individual needs to be able to operate in high stress environments while remaining to have the ability to complete tasks at hand. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and experience with telephone, Teletype and computer terminal equipment but not required. The individual will also have Skills with typing, spelling, and the use of proper grammar. This position is very important due to the safety of all agencies and citizens that we dispatch for. The positions schedule can vary any shift with any days off. Dispatchers work shift work, holidays, and weekends.
